Keep quoted and paid clothing charges separate

Compare a quote with a paid charge without treating an estimate as a receipt. Use one charge category and one currency per comparison. Do not mix an item subtotal with a parcel quotation.

Example: an estimate of 40 and a paid charge of 43 in the same currency differ by +3.

Keep the comparison fair

A quotation can change after packing, route selection or final measurement. Record the quote date and source before paying. If the two figures use different currencies, convert them using your actual recorded conversion information before comparing; this tool provides no live exchange rates.

Repeat separately for each cost category. An omitted tax, fee or later charge is not zero. A lower item price does not establish a lower delivered total, and a carrier scan does not establish what you paid.

Keep evidence private

Retain receipts and full order references privately. This page performs the arithmetic locally, does not upload the entries and does not store them after reload. The difference alone does not establish the cause of a change or a refund entitlement.

Use the delivered-cost worksheet guide to check which cost categories may still be missing.

Keep the charge date separate from a parcel scan

A recorded payment and a carrier acceptance event describe different stages. When saving the date and source of a charge, the companion guide on recording order events and parcel scans separately explains which event belongs in each record. A scan does not verify the amount you paid. This reference is maintained by the same independent editor, Jay Moo.
